I recently traded my motorcycle for a 1972 Pontiac Lemans. It’s a non-matching numbers 350 pontiac engine, Pontiac TH400, and a 10 bolt rear diff. It’s got rotted quarters, floors, and fenders, and a dash that appears to have been attacked by a family of rabid wolverines. It hasn’t been on the road since 2003, and I’ve watched it rotting in a yard since right around that time.
My goal: Do as little work as humanly possible that gets me to a passing inspection sticker and a reliable driver.
And the engine runs!
